1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
I take pride in my personal morals. I feel so many people live life without boundaries or limitations and being able to distinguish my own allows the guidance toward honorable living as well as being a positive role model for my children and others.

2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
Jesus is my hero. He set the supreme example for all of us by showing incredible bravery, living by unquestionable morals, giving the gift of faith, teaching love and forgiveness and ultimately laying down his own life so that others may know eternal life.

3.What do you love to cook and why?
Although I don’t consider them possessions I prize my children the most. I am blessed and fortunate to have healthy, beautiful children and a wonderful family. Motherhood has given me a strong feeling of fulfillment in my life and the desire to be a better person every day.

4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
Jai (rhymes with eye). My name is unusual and often pronounced incorrectly so Jai is easy and friendly. I consider myself to be relatable and believe when someone uses my nickname he or she senses a bond and a shared closeness.

5.Describe the dirtiest job you have ever had to do?
Springtime in Oregon is spectacular with flowers in full bloom and perfect weather that is neither too hot nor too cold for outdoor walks. I’m filled with joy when hearing birds chirp and seeing cherry blossoms lining the streets with their beautiful pink hues and fragrance that fills the air.
